Absentee Voting (February 26 - April 6)

  • Any qualified voter may cast an absentee ballot.
  • Absentee ballot applications are being accepted by phone, e-mail, online or in person at the Will County Clerk’s office until April 2.
  • To request an absentee ballot, call the Absentee Department at (815) 740-4632 or (815) 774-6367 or use the online form at the Will County Clerk's website.
  • Absentee ballots will be mailed to voters thru April 2
  • In-person absentee ballot applications will be accepted at the Will County Clerk's office until April 6.

Voters casting an early ballot must display a current driver’s license, a state-issued ID card or another government-issued ID with a photograph.

Grace Period Voting (March 11 - April 4)

Grace period voting is for individuals who were unable to register to vote or to change their address prior to the close of registration (28 days prior to an election). Grace period individuals may register to vote or change their address from the 27th through the 3rd day prior to an election.
