About WTRO

WTRO is an organization made up of people from all walks of life. We are proud that our organization is made up from a wide variety people from elected officials, small business owners, professional people, blue collar workers, and soccer moms.

Although it is a diverse group we all share the same belief that government is not the answer to all things in life.  Our founding fathers came to this great land of ours to live free and without government controlling their daily lives. Today courts and government pass laws and opinions taking away many of our freedoms granted to us in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. The WTRO believes the best government is one that governs the least. We believe in strict interpretation of the constitution.. We are the land of the free.

We believe government should be efficient, without corruption and that increasing taxes is not the solution for everything. Elected officials must be held accountable for their actions and judges must follow the rule of law in their decisions.

We support local, state and national candidates for office who share our vision of government, and who understand that our culture in America is being eroded by by liberal views of some politicians and secular progressives.

We work closely with elected official at all levels for the betterment of Wheatland Township, Will County, and the State of Illinois.

We believe our country needs a strong defense in these uncertain times and that we must support out troops no matter what conflict they are in. There is no greater honor than defending our country from its enemies . They deserve our unquestioning support.

We also believe in serving the community that we live in. WTRO members volunteer their time working with local organizations and church groups to help children, families, and senior citizens. Our organization raises funds for college scholarships and supports local youth group athletic teams. We believe we must all give back to our community.

If you share our beliefs please join us. See the Get Involved link for more information

The President Speaks

"In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem. From time to time we've been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people. Well, if no one among us is capable of governing himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else?"

-- Ronald Reagan, January 20, 1981
